Reservation
Yes, we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount. You’ll find the deposit details in your booking confirmation, and you can pay it by clicking the “Pay Online” button. Once we receive your deposit, you’ll get a deposit confirmation, and your booking will be confirmed.
You can pay the bill in advance by bank transfer or at checkout in cash, by debit card, Visa, MasterCard, or Diners. Please note that the total amount must be paid at checkout.
You can purchase gift certificates by emailing info@thegreen.at or directly at the front desk.
Cancellations are only valid if made in
writing.- If you cancel 3 days or fewer before your arrival date or fail to show up, we will charge 80% of the total cost of your stay.
- If you cancel between 28 and 4 days before your arrival date, we will charge 50% of the package price.
- There are no cancellation fees if you cancel up to 29 days before your arrival date.
Location & Directions
THE GREEN is located in Uderns in the upper Zillertal Valley—right next to the 18-hole Zillertal-Uderns Golf Course. Known as a sunny village, Uderns offers the perfect base for year-round activities—from hiking and biking in the summer to skiing in the nearby Hochzillertal and Spieljoch ski areas in the winter.
Coming from the east or north (Munich | Salzburg | Vienna):
From Munich/Salzburg/Vienna, take the A1, A8, and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A12 (toll sticker required!) to the Zillertal exit. Then take the B169 into the Zillertal.
For a comfortable and eco-friendly journey, you can reach the Jenbach train station, which is located directly on the Inntalbahn line.
Private Pick-up Train Service: We are happy to provide you with a free transfer to and from the Uderns train station, as well as to and from the Jenbach train station, subject to availability.
The airports in Innsbruck (50 km), Munich (170 km), and Salzburg (150 km) are located in close proximity to the Zillertal and are directly connected to destinations throughout Europe via daily scheduled flights.
All rooms and suites come with a free parking space in the garage (first-come, first-served basis). You can open the gate with your room key. The gate opens automatically when you leave.
Visitors arriving by electric car will find state-of-the-art charging stations right on site. Payment is quick and easy—simply use a credit or debit card at the terminal.
In Austria, winter tires are required from November 1 through April 15. Snow chains are not strictly required, but it is recommended that you carry them to be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions in the Alps.
Rooms and suites are available from 3:00 p.m. at the earliest on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 11:00 a.m.
We are happy to store your luggage in the locked luggage storage area at the front desk. We do not accept liability for valuables.

At the Kids Jungle Club, children receive free, caring, and age-appropriate supervision. The entire area is designed using natural materials and embodies a sustainable concept.
Yes, the childcare is tailored to the children’s ages—with a variety of programs and activities for children ages 1 to 7.
In the afternoon, a snack for the kids will give them a boost of energy before we continue with new ideas and lots of fun.
From 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., children ages one and up can enjoy a varied program with plenty of opportunities for play, creativity, and physical activity.
No, hotel guests can bring their children to the Kids Jungle Club during the childcare hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. without prior registration.

To ensure a flexible and relaxed daily routine, THE GREEN offers a thoughtfully curated buffet selection throughout the day: a high-quality breakfast, sweet and savory treats in the afternoon, and a delightful evening buffet.

The Genusswerkstatt—the resort’s award-winning restaurant—is located just a few steps away at the Sportresidenz Zillertal and is considered a special hidden gem for food lovers and gourmets. We’d be happy to make a reservation for you.
Vacation with Your Dog
Please let us know when you book that you will be traveling with your dog. The cost is €25 per dog per night (food not included). We can only accommodate dogs weighing over 45 kg or more than two dogs per room upon request.
The dog-friendly rooms feature a fenced-in garden area and offer direct access to numerous walking trails—ideal for a relaxing vacation with your four-legged companion.
Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash both throughout the resort and on the walking paths.

For security reasons, the elevator to the guest floors only works with a valid room key card. To use it, please hold your room key card up to the reader and select the appropriate floor.

Active in Winter
In winter, the Zillertal offers a wide range of activities—from skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing to winter hikes and snowshoe walks off the slopes. Thanks to the high altitude of the ski resorts, skiing is possible here well into April.
No—in addition to skiing, the Zillertal is increasingly focusing on off-piste experiences, including winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, and nature-based winter activities.
Just a few minutes from THE GREEN lie the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach and Spieljoch ski areas. In total, the Zillertal offers 546 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and 180 modern lifts for skiing and snowboarding fun.
Active in the Summer
THE GREEN is located in the heart of the Zillertal and is the perfect starting point for an active summer in the mountains. Hiking trails, bike tours, and nature excursions begin right on our doorstep—and the Zillertal-Uderns Golf Club is right next door.
THE GREEN places a special emphasis on family-friendly amenities—from the supervised Kids Jungle Club at the hotel to a wide variety of activities throughout the resort. Whether it’s Kids Golf or the Spieljoch Adventure Mountain, summer offers plenty of kid-friendly activities for guests of all ages.
Yes, with around 1,200 km of varied trails, the Zillertal is a true cycling paradise. Numerous tours start right from the hotel and are perfect for exploring on our modern e-bikes.

Miscellaneous
Yes, the night entrance for the rooms in the main building and the Water Suites is located to the left of the stairs leading to the main entrance. For the night entrance to the Green Suites, turn right in front of the main entrance and follow the “Night Entrance” sign. You can open the doors with your room key card. You can also use your room key card to access the underground parking garage (at any time of day or night). You can also reach every room from the underground parking garage.
The main entrance is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the building. Just connect to "Guest@THEGREEN"—no password is required.
